3. User Responsibilities
When using SmartLanka Hub, users agree to:

- Independently verify people, businesses and listings.
- Inspect goods, vehicles and properties before payment.
- Protect personal, financial and account information.

4. Listings and Advertisements
Users who submit listings are responsible for the accuracy, legality and completeness of all information, descriptions, prices, photographs and contact details they provide.
Listings must not contain:
- False, misleading or deceptive information
- Stolen goods or unlawfully obtained property
- Illegal products or prohibited services
- Content that infringes another person’s rights
- Malicious links, scams or fraudulent payment requests
- Discriminatory, threatening or abusive content
SmartLanka Hub may review, reject, edit, suspend or remove a listing that violates these Terms or presents a safety risk.
5. Jobs, Workers and Services
Job seekers must independently confirm the employer’s identity, workplace, job description, salary, working hours and employment conditions before accepting a position.
Employers and customers should verify qualifications, references, identification and experience where appropriate.
SmartLanka Hub does not guarantee employment, worker performance, service quality, availability, qualifications or the outcome of any agreement between users.
6. Vehicles and Properties
Vehicle listings
Buyers should inspect the vehicle, verify registration and ownership documents, check the service history and obtain an independent mechanical inspection before payment.
Property listings
Buyers and tenants should verify ownership, title deeds, survey plans, boundaries, local authority approvals, rental terms and the identity of the owner or authorized agent.
Users should obtain appropriate professional or legal advice before completing a significant vehicle or property transaction.
7. Payments, Deposits and Fraud Prevention
SmartLanka Hub does not currently hold, transfer or guarantee payments between users unless a specific service clearly states otherwise.
- Do not send money merely to receive a job.
- Do not share passwords, PINs or OTP verification codes.
- Avoid paying before inspecting the item or property.
- Confirm the recipient’s identity before transferring money.
- Request receipts and retain written agreements.
- Report suspicious advertisements or messages promptly.
Payments and agreements made outside SmartLanka Hub are made at the user’s own discretion and risk.
8. Accounts and Security
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for activity conducted through their accounts.
You must notify SmartLanka Hub if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. You must not access or attempt to use another person’s account without permission.
9. Prohibited Activities
Users must not:
- Publish scams, fake listings or deceptive advertisements.
- Impersonate another person, business or organization.
- Collect user information without lawful authorization.
- Upload malware or attempt to damage the website.
- Attempt to bypass website security controls.
- Send spam, threats or abusive communications.
- Use automated tools to copy or overload the platform.
- Use the platform for unlawful or harmful activities.
10. Intellectual Property
The SmartLanka Hub name, website design, logos, original text, graphics and platform materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Users retain responsibility for content they submit and confirm that they have permission to publish it. By submitting content, users allow SmartLanka Hub to display and process it for operating and promoting the platform.

SmartLanka Hub may contain links to external websites, email services, telephone services, WhatsApp or other third-party platforms.
We do not control and are not responsible for the availability, security, content, privacy practices or actions of third-party services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

SmartLanka Hub may remove content, restrict access or suspend an account when reasonably necessary to:
