Job Description

Green Garden Restaurant is looking for a friendly and responsible part-time Restaurant Waiter to support our evening and night operations. The selected person will welcome customers, take orders, serve food and beverages, and help maintain a clean and pleasant dining environment.

This position is suitable for school leavers, students or anyone looking for part-time hospitality work and additional income.

Job Information

Requirements

• Basic Sinhala or English communication skills.
• Ability to communicate politely and professionally with customers.
• Friendly and polite customer service attitude.
• Applicants should be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work during evening and night shifts.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy restaurant environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and assist them in finding suitable tables.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately.
• Serve food and beverages to customers in a professional manner.
• Respond politely to customer requests and basic enquiries.
• Keep tables, service areas and dining spaces clean and organised.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff and report customer concerns to the supervisor.
